Artur Boruc is not Fred Astaire

By: JT | August 30th, 2007

As the Champions League draw looms this afternoon, there is no better time to celebrate the man who played the biggest role in getting Celtic through to the group stages. I don’t know what they call the dance that Boruc is doing, but when its set to Bob Marley, it really doesn’t matter. Check out the look of relief on JVoH’s face!

Naylor let a ball cross the endline, thinking it was off a Spartak player when it clearly wasn’t. So Boruc got in his face because Spartak had just scored on a corner two minutes before. Also, Naylor may have played his worst half as a Celt in the first period, but he redeemed himself in the second half before leaving injured. Boruc had to cover for him more than a few times.
