Barca and Celtic agree in principal to a deal for Crosas
By: Matt | August 5th, 2008
Barcelona FC’s official site (though in Catalonian) is reporting that Celtic and Barca have agreed to a deal to send Marc Crosas to Celtic for 900,000 euros. Barcelona also have the option to buy back Crosas for 2 million euros by 2010 if they wish. The site also mentions something about Crosas’ ability to participate in the Champions League, but I cannot decipher what it says. I would assume that since Barca haven’t played their qualifier yet that he would not be Cup Tied officially, but if Celtic and Barca meet again in the Champions League that he would not play for that tie. If Celtic were to sell Crosas, Barcelona would also get 25% of that sale. Can this day get any better?

So, we buy for £600,000 and Barca buy back for £1.3m. They also have a sell on clause if we sell to someone else.
The SSM is slipping….

So, I checked out the official site. You can switch it to English at the top of the page. Half a million euros for the transfer. 900,000 bonus based on appearances, champions league and titles won.
