Boruc Charged by the SFA…
By: Matt | September 9th, 2008
The SFA’s Review Panel has decided that Artur Boruc must face them and answer questions about his “hand gesture” towards Rangers supporters on the match at Celtic Park on August 31st. There have been photos found of Boruc giving the Rangers fans a “one fingered” (two guesses what this is) gesture. In all their wisdom, the SFA’s Review Panel has decided that Boruc must appear before them a day before Celtic’s match against Aalborg in the Champions League. What a coincidence eh? Instead of preparing for one of the most important matches of the Champions League campaign, he will be explaining himself to the I’m sure fair and balanced panel. Gee, what are the odds?

I’d love to see the transcript of proceedings, or at least what the questions that the panel has are. As usual, the SFA prove how unfit they are to govern the game in Scotland.

Apparently the SFA were investigating the band Mogwai because in their North American tour journal they said they’d release the address of a Rangers player if their single wasn’t made #1 and they joked how Nacho Novo was first…you can’t make this stuff up!
