Right after it first came out that Boruc was mulling over the use of the Webster ruling, I thought I read that he wouldn't be able to use it anyway because he'd be too old by the time the case was decided upon by FIFA and implemented. So, while it seems he has extended his stay at Celtic Park up through 2011, he also "insured" the club that they get a fee for his transfer should he choose to leave in a year...
