@Nolan-Our clubs have had a great relationship indeed. I have high hopes for Crosas and I think a lot of Celtic fans do to. I just hope the expectations aren’t too much for him.

I hope Crosas thrives for Celtic. I’m disappointed to see us letting him go; I think he is quality but is too similar to Xavi for him to get the time he needs at Barcelona, I think the agreement works out for both of us, I’m glad to see that Celtic and Barcelona are continuing to have a very positive relationship and I hope it can continue.

I think it is but you’ll have people debating about did he bring him down. If the ref follows to the t of the rule, then it is a correct red but in my mind I think of desperate slide tackles. Maybe it is just in my mind…although the ref missed a clear penalty a few minutes earlier so I guess it evens out.

Isn’t a straight red sort of required when the last man brings down the scoring threat? I thought the ref just followed protocol there.

While it wasn’t the prettiest game to watch j, after losing on the first day against Hearts and drawing with Falkirk last year it was a solid start. I was really impressed with St. Mirren’s back line but they really need some offensive threats or it could be a long fight for survival.

I thought it was a solid start and St. Mirren did a great job too.
