There is no doubt that this is a difficult tie, but I really don’t want to assess the Camp Nou match until we know what happens in Glasgow. Once we get an idea what the Bhoys need to do to advance, I’ll think more about the second leg, but I feel great about their chances on Wednesday. If they look awesome for the third week running, anything is possible, even against a side like Barca. I’ll make a prediction after the Hearts match, because health must be considered, but I could easily see a 1-0 or 2-1 going to Celtic.

If Celtic are getting a win against Barca, I very much doubt it will be on the road. The Camp Nou in the round of 16 is not the time to try to get out of a long road slump. A draw in Barcelona is as much as Celtic can hope for, I think, and perhaps a slight win in Glasgow. Even with the injuries, this is a very hard tie.

Dare we hope for a shocker at Camp Nou? Lord knows we’re overdue a Euro away W, or at least a goal.
