		<description>Brian, as you mention, Fowler is in a financial position to do as he pleases.  I&#039;ve always been impressed with his business dealings.  So if he really does love Rangers, he&#039;ll do what he has to do to get the deal done.  After re-reading that article I find it interesting that they focus more on wages and marketing than what he can contribute on the pitch.

Personally, I think he&#039;s so far past his best that it doesn&#039;t bother me one bit if he signs for Rangers.  He&#039;s really just a penalty taker and has no pace whatsoever.</description>

		<description>Fowler had an interesting contract with Liverpool.  He was basically paid £10,000 per a game, i believe whether he actually played or was available for sub.  I don&#039;t think he would do that for any other club, but he isn&#039;t exactly poor.  I&#039;m beginning to question the validity of this rumor, it just doesn&#039;t make any sense for either side. Why would he want to go to the Rangers where basically few people would care when he could go to, let&#039;s say Wolverhampton, where he&#039;d be more appreciated and can actually make a difference?</description>
