I've always been impressed with his business dealings. So if he really does love Rangers, he'll do what he has to do to get the deal done. After re-reading that article I find it interesting that they focus more on wages and marketing than what he can contribute on the pitch. Personally, I think he's so far past his best that it doesn't bother me one bit if he signs for Rangers. He's really just a penalty taker and has no pace whatsoever. He was basically paid £10,000 per a game, i believe whether he actually played or was available for sub. I don't think he would do that for any other club, but he isn't exactly poor. I'm beginning to question the validity of this rumor, it just doesn't make any sense for either side. Why would he want to go to the Rangers where basically few people would care when he could go to, let's say Wolverhampton, where he'd be more appreciated and can actually make a difference?
