Thanks Jeremy. Unfortunately with radio, much is left to the imagination and they just said that it bounced of Boruc straight to McCormack. I should have figured it was due to poor marking.

The goal wasn’t as much a goalkeeping error as it was a defensive one, the area of the park we’ve had the most trouble. As always there was a gap between the central midfield and the central defense that you could park an airplane in. The ball came down our left side and was passed into the middle to a motherwell player whose name i can’t remember. No one was marking him (center mid or defender) he took 3 touches toward the 18 and no one stepped up to block the shot. He hit a well struck shot to Boruc’s right side which made him dive to parry it wide. Unfortunately it was parried right to the waiting feet of McCormack who was dully unmarked by Andreas Hinkel. A total lapse of defensive responsibility.

I’m a big advocate of not hitting the panic button too soon, but after this weekend’s game, I’m pretty disappointed in the way we’ve been playing. I really thought we’d get hot after the transfer season. Honestly, I’m constantly confused at Riordan’s lack of opportunities. Now that it looks like we’ve lost the league, GS needs to give other players a shot. It’s not like his current tactics are producing anything.
