Falkirk 1-4 Celtic: The Highlights
By: JT | August 12th, 2007Celtic collected a morale boosting 4-1 victory at Falkirk yesterday ahead of the huge midweek tussle with Spartak Moskva in the Champions League qualifiers. The start was not ideal as Falkirk got on the board first through Michael Higdon, with a huge assist from a napping Celtic defense. An own goal from the Bairns’ Kenny Milne drew the Bhoys level, and in a five minute span late in the second half three goals sealed the win for Celtic. Man of the Match Kenny Miller put the Hoops ahead, Nakamura delighted the traveling supporters with yet another filthy free-kick and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink opened his account for this campaign.
The performance was just what the squad needed before making the arduous trip to Moscow.
