Matt's right - Brown did play some time as winger during the qualifiers, mostly because the other wing options for Scotland (Rae, Teale, Pearson) are all pretty mediocre. But he definitely is at his best in the middle, and I'd rather see him as a backup central mid for Scotland than a starting winger.

I thought he played on the wing during the Scottish National teams wee run during the qualifiers, but I could be mistaken as I don't really care about the SNT. He's definitely not the holding midfielder that WGS wants him to be...he should be attacking not sending long passes and trying to stop (and consequentially get booked) a counter attack...

I agree about a bid for Donati...rumors were that earlier in the season Milan wanted him back for around 10 million...doubt we'd get that type of money now but I'd settle for half of it :-D Especially with Robo Cop and Hartley seeming to form a nice team in the middle.

Quality, I just choked on my dinner there. A question though....where was Donald Findlay QC when the SFA needed defended from the “state”

A wee aside, the first picture is not of a hun....

There is no way in the world that any official body can punish oor Arfur. The evidence is clear. In no way did he try and provoke the huns. I mean, it’s not as if he danced a wee dance in front of them while pointing to his t-shirt.

yes, as LTPS88 said he knew what he was doing. He was highlighting Scottish ills in the most public place. A place when these ills come to the surface and boil like acid.

The reaction of the “fans”, the media and the mouthpieces just show that the t-shirt has done the trick.

Now, Donati is 26 years old. I don’t think that is that young for a player or a guy who admits that he gets his wife to dye his hair and cut it because he is bored. Does he not have a XBOX?

I agree he deserve another chance next season as he has ability but.....if a bid comes in which is suitable for parties then I won’t lose any sleep.

Matt: where does this Scott Brown is a winger come from? At Hibs he was a CM, who was sometimes deployed on the right hand side of a narrow three but I can’t remember him ever playing as an out and out wide man.

Agreed again. He will be a player but we must go with the players in form at the moment.

Yeah though Ian, I must agree with you on that. It's not punishable for Boruc in any way, but he knew exactly what he was doing when he unveiled that shirt.

Don't forget "fair and unbiased". It should be "Honorable, wise, fair and unbiased" Judge Matt. Funny ... even though we disagree on parts of this issue, I have to agree with you that nothing should happen to Boruc. We've already made way too much out of the shirt, and FIFA, as you say, has no leg to stand on because of Kaka. Do I think it was a little divisive? Yes. Worthy of a ban or fine or any more conversation? Nope.
