Agree, Naka and Koki should be able to help each other, this situation is great for both Celtic and Japan and if the kid lives up to his promise everyone wins.

Looks like Samaras scored on his debut, I think you guys made some really intelligent moves during the transfer window. See you in Camp Nou!

Mike, you are right. It seems like Naka will support Koki on-and-off the pitch, actually, koki will live at the same apartment where Naka lives, according to some press information from Japan.

About Naka, it seems like a J-league (Japan Football League) team, Yokohama F. Marinos where he had played from 1997 to 2002 until he moved to Italy, will really try to get him back, forming special project for Naka's comeback such as obtaining new sponsors and so on. However, he mentioned that he would play in Celtic as long as he is needed.

Just watched the mizuno press conference and saw some pics on celticfc.com of naka and mizuno at practice together and it got me thinking. I think Koki may be a better signing then meets the eye. I think having someone on the training pitch for naka to interact with a little more might even elevate his game a bit, and with the fact that Koki is said to have his skill so naka will want to step it up to stay ahead of the younger signing. And also for Koki to be able to come in and have such a good mentor and someone to interact with and get him comfortable and acclimated to his new surrounds, Im excited to see what kinds of htings he will produce for us

John, he's seemed on the way out for quite a while now. My best guess is that he's got a personality conflict with Strachan. Most of the supporters that I interact with are baffled at his limited playing time, especially when Celtic are lacking creativity or punch up front. It was rumored that Burnley offered 400k (I think) for him and it was shot down. When he leaves, I hope its not to an SPL club because I could see him killing Celtic. If things don't improve for him he'll be gone this summer.

Any thoughts on Riordan's future? I sort of like the guy, especially after I saw him score a wicked goal against Chicago in a friendly last summer, but he seems to be constantly on the outs. Robson's arrival certainly dosen't help. Seems like we should be able to get a fair price for him, he's certainly a capable player.
