Match Day Morning

Heart of Midlothian - 1 (Mikollunas, 28)
Celtic - 2 (Vennegoor of Hes., 59; Jarosik 81)
I imagine the Celtic victory at Tynecastle was a bit bittersweet for former Heart, now Celtic defenseman Steven Pressley, as Celtic mustered two second half goals to come from behind and earn full points away. Hearts had every opportunity to overtake Aberdeen for the third table position in the Scottish Premier, but the fates swung in the direction of Gordon Strachan and Hoops.
It was important for Celtic to assert its continued SPREM dominance over a strong side in Hearts. Hearts has struggled more than in usual this year with managerial and transfer issues, but have put together a string of top form play, its last loss to Aberdeen back in mid-December.
Celtic themselves have not lost since their UEFA Champions League disappointment away to Copenhagen. Their last Scottish league loss, their only Scottish League loss– to Hearts away.
We are Celtic. This is the Celtic Offside Report.
