Welcome to Celtic, Tony Mowbray.

One more note for any West Brom supporters still lurking around. Thought you might enjoy this wee exert from the Daily Mail today. “Sportsmail understands a series of talks between Parkhead chief executive Peter Lawwell and West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace resulted in Celtic paying just £1.4million for Mowbray’s services – far below the Midlands club’s £2m ‘non-negotiable’ asking price.” Haw Haw Haw ya fuds!

Matt D-I think Celtic have many of the pieces already in place that will thrive under Mowbray’s attacking system. When they were both at Hibs, Mowbray and Scott Brown seemed to figure out how to bring out the best in Brooony, earning him the biggest transfer fee in Scotland. Mowbray has publicly drooled over the Marc Crosas-Scott Brown combination. I think ToMo is going to go after a striker for his 4-3-3 and hopefully he finally takes care of the leftback problem. I wouldn’t mind if he got a solid centerback, because I don’t fully trust Stephen McManus. I would expect either Aiden McGeady or Artur Boruc to be sold, but I wouldn’t expect both to be sold.
