So Barcelona It Is
By: JT | December 21st, 2007Celtic have drawn Spanish minnows FC Barcelona in the Champions League Round of 16. Information on the Celts’ opponents is hard to come by, but rumor has it that they have a few players who might be worth watching. Once I can dig up some info on these guys who apparently hail from the Cataluna region of Spain, I’ll post it immediately.
Nothing can disguise the genuine emotion…

Best post about Barcelona I’ve read in years. Props to you.

Haha, that was great. Barca can’t seem to get out of Scotland (trained there pre-season, playing the Hearts and others, then got Rangers in the CL).. Still, I’m somewhat down we drew my favorite British team

Lucas - it really is a fantastic environment. Anyone who has a chance to get to Celtic Park should at some point - it’s one of the great football experiences of Europe. Just don’t wear blue.

Yeah, I agree with Nolan - at least things should proceed in good spirits.

I love Celtic (and hate Rangers… they’re scum), but what the hell is this post about? “Spanish minnows” & “but they might have a few players worth watching”. What is that?!?!?!?! ‘JT’, I can tell that you are a bandwagoner, who just started watching futbol when Celtic won the SPL title last season. All of my Celtic friends were scared as hell to face us, they knew who we are, and that we are not “minnows”. Try LEARNING about the whole sport before you run your mouth, retard.

Wow, AM i AR, you are not going to be too much fun to hang out with at New Years parties, are you? Apparently your sense of humor was lost a long time ago. But the good news is that there are drugs available to cure what ails you.
As most of the commenters understood, the post was tongue-in-cheek, which means sarcastic, backhanded, even corrosive if you like. But you wouldn’t understand any of those words, now would you?
Enjoy the new year in your world where no one laughs or understands wit, and where you disparage people in languages you stupidly assume they don’t speak.

Yeah, it was pretty obviously a joke. You’re Spanish is fine … might want to work on your English, AM i AR. Missing some subtleties. Do you really think that even a “bandwagoner” wouldn’t have heard of Barcelona? If so, perhaps I can interest you in a timeshare, or one of New York’s fine historic bridges.

So then I go and make a grammatical error. *Knocking head against something* … time for drink. Happy Hogmanay to all.
