The Evening Edition - A Parkhead Afternoon Awaits
By: Cham | December 21st, 2006
After a nice holiday before the holidays, I’m back and happy to report a few bits in the news before tomorrow’s Scottish Premier match with Falkirk at Celtic Park.
In the Press:
Celtic’s already won the SPREM, says midfielder Jarosik, courtesy of The Daily Record.
Pressley looks to England clubs, courtesy of The Herald.
Rod the Mod rocking in Hoops, courtesy of The Guardian.
We are Celtic. This is the Celtic Offside Report.

Jiri’s right. Give him credit for saying what most people are thinking. Maybe it’s not “sportsmanlike” and a little too soon; however, it would be a miracle if Celtic don’t win the SPREM.
Having said that, I hope they don’t take both eyes off the league in their quest for European success.
Cham, btw, did you see where Boruc is looking like leaving to go to ManU next season? Who does that leave Celtic in goal?
Also, give Rod a lot of credit, too. When many other over-the-hill rockers keep trying to recapture past youthful glory, Rod moves on and has great success by acting his age.
(Except, that is, when he marrys women younger than his daughter!)

I’ll give Rod all the credit in the world. I’m as young or maybe as old as anyone, but let’s just say I didn’t grow up with the Faces and someone did give me a couple of Rod’s old records as a gag gift last Christmas.
Having said all that, I absolutely loved seeing Rod in the crowd at Parkhead when our Bhoys beat United.

I know someone who works in the Acadia Parish School System here in LA (as a Special Ed teacher) who is a DEAD RINGER for Rod. He’s Irish to boot, and he, naturally, he loves Celtic. Name’s Desmond.
