The Return of the Khing?

By: Matt | August 28th, 2008

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Sentanta is reporting that Swedish team Helsingborg has made it public that they are looking to sell HENRIK FUCKING LARSSON to either the SPL or EPL. Ghod has scored 8 goals in twenty games, as well as creating 5 goals for his teammates. It is believed that of course Celtic are interested in his services (yayyyyyy!), but so are old boss Martin O’Neill’s new team Aston Villa (boooooo!). Henke said “Whether the club wants to sell me is up to them. Should that be the case, I will then make a decision. There are only two options for me, whether I accept or do not.”

Apparently the Champions League Draw is today not tomorrow (did UEFA not get my email about planning all events around my class schedule?), so unfortunately the live blog is likely out. Maybe an abridged liveblog. We’ll see. Check back at around 11:30…

As much as I’d hate to see my boys playing against him, I’d love to see him play in the SPL again. Still an absolute legend, and still on great form, especially for his age.

If Celtic doesn’t sign him, they’ll have missed out on an amazing opportunity.

John-I think Henke doesn’t want to have to choose between us and MON so whoever offers his current team the most will get him sadly…
