He was not only a great Celtic man but a great Scot loved by everyone in the Scottish game. Gordon Brown said it right - "one of the nicest people in football". I remember that moment after the Spartak game too - I was in Scotland and when everyone was talking about the game the next day, it always came up whether you saw the leap from Tommy Burns.
