Of Bhoys and Men - Ukraine, meet Glasgow?
By: Cham | December 7th, 2006
Our friends at Sky Sports are telling us that Bayer Leverkusen forward and Ukrainian international Andrey Voronin has caught the eye of Celtic, thus saith the German press.
The timing of this exciting news is no coincidence, as these potential trade rumblings coincide with the upcoming winter transfer window.
The talks come now at the close of Celtic’s UEFA Group Stage run. Strachan and company are optimistic that the Ukrainian Bundesliger will be in Glasgow camp before the start of the Champions League First Knockout Round in late February.
Be mindful that Andrey Voronin, called The Crow, was a starter for Ukraine International in their 2-nil defeat of Scotland in a Euro Cup qualifying match back in October.

I’d love to see him in the hoops. He’s one of my favorite players. He’ll be an awesome addition to a team of destiny.

I’d love to see Veronin in the Green and White.
I thought he played well at the World Cup.
