Why I hate international games, part 1. Updated!

I hate international games. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Polish media sources are reporting that Celtic and Polish international team goalie Artur Boruc has injured his groin in his last game with Poland against the Czech Republic. Here is the the story that I saw: “Ból jeszcze odczuwam, ale myślę, że wszystko będzie dobrze i będę gotowy. Oczywiście chcemy ze Słowakami wygrać i tyle. Wiem, że różnie bywało w tych drugich z rzędu meczach eliminacyjnych. Teraz wszystko jest w naszych głowach. Warunki do regeneracji fizycznej mamy bardzo dobre” – powiedział Artur Boruc,” which I translated online to say “I perceive pain else, but I think, that everything there will be well and I will be ready. Certainly we want to win with slovaks and so many (so much) . I know, that it took place in (to) it second (other) of row different eliminatory matches. Now everything there is in our heads. Conditions have good for physical regeneration very ” arthur has said – Boruc.
These online translator things tend to be hit or miss, but it seems from that quote that Boruc’s injury is not a long term one. However, my Polish sources seem to think that he will be missing some time. Stay tuned as more information is discovered.
Update: Thanks to a commenter at the Polish World Cup Blog named M. Zurawski (I always wondered what happened to Magic!), it seems that the injury might not be as serious as initially thought. The comment was “So i’ve had a quick look though the Polish media and have got both good news and bad news. The bad news is that yes, indeed he has hurt his groin. He trained after the Czech match and after several minutes had to quit the warm ups. The good news is that the injury is not severe, as you have been told. There is a chance that he may be eligible for the midweek match, and if this is the case, surely it cannot be entirely detrimental. Personally i hope he is given a break against Slovakia so he is in ideal form for Ivernness.”
Good good news, as you never want a goalie like the Holy Goalie out, but especially at a time when Celtic is trying to cling to the top of the league via goal differential.
