Yo, Serie A Tifosi, Help A Brotha Out!

Celtic have been linked with a £5 million “double swoop” as they say for Sampdoria badass Gennaro Delvecchio and Milan (not really) winger Massimo Donati. Here’s what I gather so far, from a quick scouring of the net:
Delvecchio is a bit of a late bloomer/journeyman who has cracked the national team under Donadoni and got sent off for headbutting Materazzi, which is superb in my book. You have to love that kind of spirit. Perhaps this will jog your memory:
As for Donati, he’s Italy’s most capped U21 player, and was purchased by Milan from Atalanta for £10 million in 2001. Since then he’s made the rounds in Serie A on loan.

The Chief says there is no transfer war with Rangers, therefore it must be fact.
