Boruc “Announcement” soon?
By: Matt | June 24th, 2009
I don’t like to make a habit of using Bebo as a source for news, but this apparently is Artur Boruc’s official bebo page. On this page, “Artur Boruc” (quotes to denote my skepticism) has published a blog today saying this:
“My dear dear fans and fans of the Club.
As you may know, certain things are happening at the club now, with things changing.
This is not a goodbye, but i just want to tell you that in the next few days, some important issues will be ironed out regarding my future at the club.
I just want to take this moment, to thank all of you’s, each and every one of you’s who have supported me through the good and the bad, the messages, everything. Celtic have the best fan’s in the world, and if one thing ends up leading to another, i cannot put into words how much i would miss you’s.
I will make an important announcement with regards to my future, in the coming day’s, so be sure to keep in touch, and watch this space……
Your’s Sincerely, Artur”
Whether or not this is real, still remains to be seen. There has been wide speculation that Celtic might try and cash in on Boruc while they still can and give the reins in goal to Boruc’s Poland countryman Lukasz Zaluksa, who Celtic have signed from Dundee United. This message seems to indicate that Boruc will be on the move. Although, this all could be shite, with some fan on the wind-up. However, if it really is the end of Boruc’s time at Celtic, it will mark the end of an era. Not only will it be the end of Boruc’s time as a Bhoy, marking the end of one of the most popular and best players of Celtic in a long time, but it will be the end of a general era for Celtic. If Boruc leaves, he will be another piece of the 3 SPL title winning clubs, with stalwarts of those teams like Gordon Strachan, Shunsuke Nakamura, Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, and possibly Artur Boruc. Changes are certainly afoot at Celtic.

please don’t let big Artur go,I’ve always admired him as a goalkeeper, nobody can take his place, I know in the past he’s been a bit of a rascal, but when your young who doesn’t make mistakes,{go on cast the 1st stone) O’niell said he was taking time off to be with his wife, & ended up taking most of our great players.Don’t let this happen again. Please.
