Celtic Marketing as Subtle as a Hammer to the Face

By: Matt | June 30th, 2009

Upon checking the old e-mail inbox today, I noticed an email, oh so subtly hinting at what the new away kit for Celtic will be next season. I have a feeling it will be “sweet like honey”, to continue the subtly used by the Celtic Marketing campaign. People with half a brain can probably figure out the sting on this one, it seems the infamous bumblebee will be returning next season. Celtic has released some bumblebee related training gear, so it seems like a formality now for the team to announce the return of perhaps the most infamous away kit in Celtic history. Welcome back, the bumblebee!

Yeah, might want to wait before you order a name on the back haha. Crosas will be here for at least one more year, might be a bit more safe! Of course, getting a legend on the back is always a safe bet. I have a 67 edition hoops, a 05/06 home with the badge in the center (dont like that part though), and both last year’s kits, the home one a McGeady 46 from thefootballshirt.com, not that I’d endorse getting a jersey that is half the price of the official that is identical to the official one… *wink*
