Landry N’Guemo joins Celtic Officially
By: Matt | July 16th, 2009
There was talk that work permit problems would not alow N’Guemo to sign, but Celtic have announced that they have officially signed Nancy midfielder Landry N’Guemo on a season long loan, with the option to buy after the season. The Cameroon international player has moved from French side Nancy and links up with his former team-mate, Marc-Antoine Fortune, who recently became Tony Mowbray’s first signing for Celtic. The 23-year-old midfielder has been with Nancy for the past four years, making over 100 appearances for the club. NGuemo said of the move, “This is a fantastic honour to sign for a club of Celtic’s stature with its wonderful history and magnificent supporters. I’m looking forward to playing for this great club over the next year and hopefully extending my stay at Celtic beyond that.” He will be unveiled tomorrow at Celtic Park. This is the second signing by Tony Mowbray, after last week saw the addition of N’Guemo’s Nancy teammate and West Brom loanee Marc-Antoine Fortune.

Is he wearing odd coloured boots?
Maybe a tad eccentric?

Toby-There were some pictures on the Huddleboard and the guy’s boots are about his eccentric as his dress. Though as long as he’s dominating the midfield, I don’t care if his boots are polka-dot.
