Paddy McCourt’s Goal
By: Matt | September 24th, 2009If you are like me, you are a Celtic message board junkie. The Huddleboard, CelticMinded, DeadRaibead, TalkCeltic, Kerrydale Street, etc, I am guessing that a majority of you are a member of one of the above you have been hearing about the mythical Paddy McCourt goal from yesterday’s 4-0 victory over Falkirk in the CIS Cup. Various corners of the Tim-nernet have been hyping to goal up to be Pele/Maradona worthy (don’t want to start THAT debate), but since the game was no on TV, Channel 67, or less *ahem* legal ways of online vewing, only the people that saw it live know of it’s glory. Sure, some Celtic fans who were in Falkirk tried to provide some illustrated explanations of the goal. While it was appreciated, and rather humorous, it still didn’t give us all a great idea of the goal. Well now, I have some footage finally of the magical goal.
Apparently, this video missed him beating three defenders in the midfield as well. Still, that was some run!

Pointer wins the post match interview “Jimmy Calderwood-Magaluf perma-tan” award…highlights were pish…WTF BBC !?
Have we sold Skoosh yet ? For 40k a month, or whatever it is, I can run around the pitch like a headless chicken and hack people down for 90mins..we got absolutely mugged out of 4.5 mill for him. N’Guemo’s eatin for two in CM..hats of to him. I’d say Robson can’t get fit quick enough but I fear BTM and Pointer think Skoosh is an “untouchable”..reason evades me.

Wildrover-As far as Brown being undroppable, I hope that is not the case. I am hoping that ToMo is trying to increase his value by playing, aka pulling a Massimo Donati. Donati got tons of playing time in the preseason and early season and increased his value by a few sheets. I think it just comes down to the fact that Robson is getting into game shape slowly. What really perplexes me is what Crosas has to do to get a game. Crosas seems to be in Mowbray’s doghouse for some reason.

Yeah, Robson is not fully match fit yet. While I’m a fan, Crosas has looked a little lightweight at times in the league..IMHO he’s better adapted to a more continental style of play
