No News, Therefore Radiohead
By: JT | June 25th, 2007When news is slow on the Celtic front, and I’m feeling less than energetic, I’ll bring some samples of my other passion to the Offside. That being, of course, the greatest band to walk the face of this here earth Radiohead. I’ve found no evidence that Thom Yorke is Celtic fan, but in my mind, he’s got to be. It just makes sense.
As is appropriate for any proper sporting event, we’ll lead off with ‘The National Anthem’. Note that this is one of the very few live performances of the song where they’re backed by the brass, as they are on the recorded version. Its SNL’s house band if you must know. Hope this wakes you up this morning, PLAY IT LOUD!
